Being able to help building and growing the first nursery of Ropes of Hopes is the best way to describe the words “conservation” and “future” at the same time!

I am a passionate oceanographer and marine biologist focused on marine conservation. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Marine Science at the University of Barcelona. Gaining experience at the Institute of Marine Science (ICM-CSIC) with small pelagic fishes, helped me realize that I am passionate about all the biology associated with the marine world and their conservation, thus I decided to move to Portugal to carry on with my studies. I’m currently doing my master’s degree in Marine Biology at the University of Algarve. Then, I came across the opportunity to move to Tanzania, a country full of marine biodiversity, to participate in this amazing project; so here I am, doing my best in The Ropes of Hope!
